MODULE 1: Defence Against Strikes - 2 hours

Learn to handle threats at long range. This module focuses on awareness, reading intent, and defending against punches, kicks and other strikes. Build confidence in avoiding, deflecting, and countering attacks while staying safe.

Module 1 covers:

  • Travel security

  • Situational/Spatial awareness

  • Threat recognition

  • Understanding different levels of threats

  • Steps to take if you are being followed

  • UK Law in relation to Self-defence

  • Conflict control readiness

  • Verbal defence/compliance

  • Distance control management

  • Defences against common street strikes

  • Counter - attack and escape strategies

  • Concepts to overcome multiple attackers

MODULE 2: Defence Against Grabs & Holds - 2.5 hours

When an attacker gets close, knowing how to break free is critical. This module covers practical defences against grabs, chokes, headlocks, and restraint training - with techniques grounded in close protection experience.

Module 2 covers:

  • Recap from Module 1

  • Frames

  • Breaking from wrist, arm, and clothing grabs.

  • Escaping chokes and headlocks

  • Controlling and neutralizing attacker

  • Easy to learn take-downs for the street

MODULE 3: Defence on the ground - 2.5 hours

If the fight goes to the ground, you need to know how to survive and escape quickly. Learn ground survival tactics from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA and close protection methods to regain your footing and safety.
